Over the weekend Surviving Christmas came on TBS as we were decorating our tree. I definitely wouldn’t call it a holiday classic (man, 2003-2004 was a rough movie-making time for Ben Affleck), but it does have a great cast and plenty o’ featured knitwear!

What you call a “garter stitch” hat on Christina Applegate looks to me like a “Brioche” or “Prime Rib” stitch to me.
Reply, please.
Nope, it’s garter stitch. It’s worked sideways as a strip, seamed up in the back, then finished with a blanket stitch edging. 🙂
I knit primarily for my grandchildren and often see hat patterns that are sized for adults only. Is it possible to include toddler and children sizes for all hat patterns? If not, how can I downsize adult hats for toddlers and children?
